I have been a proud resident of the area since 1987. With more than 29 years as a local Realtor®, I have always been a top producer in this area and have won numerous awards. Since 1997 I have been a member of the RE/MAX Team and have successfully achieved Executive Club, Presidents Club, 100% Club, Chairman’s Club and Platinum Award status. I continued to build on my success by becoming a Broker in the early 90's. In the desire to serve my clients better, I honed my skills and earned my professional designation ASA (Accredited Senior Agent), ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) and LUXE (Luxury Listing Specialist). I was honoured to be inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame in 2005 and was awarded a Lifetime Achievement award in 2016.Having been raised in a family of entrepreneurs, I had been taught to work hard and smart to achieve maximum success. My experience in a manufacturing environment taught me that customer satisfaction and the best service before, during and after the transaction are what keeps clients coming back. I carry these lessons with me as I conduct my business and am committed to providing the best service possible.
I have two sons, 30 and 25. Our family enjoys gardening, skiing, fishing, hiking, racing and being outdoors. You can see our sponsored car most Saturdays in the summer at the Merrittville Speedway. We have always loved animals and miss our rescued golden doodle terribly. I love my community and give back by being a member of Rotary International, and a passionate supporter of Grimsby Art Gallery, McNally House, Community Care Niagara, Children's Miracle Network, The Canadian Cancer Society, and The Heart and Stroke Foundation.

About Perry Poirier

I grew up in the Town of Grimsby, attended local schools, played organized sports and participated in many other group functions. From these experiences, I developed lifelong friendships with some incredible people. And, I have firsthand experience and knowledge of what the Niagara Region and the surrounding areas have to offer!Our family was fortunate enough to have a cottage in beautiful Norfolk County. This was like a second home to my family and me. I spent some time living in the Norfolk area and working for Ontario Parks. Having always loved the outdoors, the time that I spent in Norfolk offered me a great sense of what the county had to offer and increased my interest in agriculture, land and conservation.
I attended Mohawk College in Brantford, where I studied design. While in college, I decided to start my own business, Emerald Design & Construction, which combined both my love of the outdoors and of design. I continued to operate my company for 10 years before selling. Being a business owner, I developed excellent customer service skills. It was then that I discovered my true passion of working with people and creating relationships.
My mother, Catherine Poirier, has been in the real estate business for 29 years. Watching my mother create and develop a successful career as an agent and then broker, I decided it was time for me to become a licensed sales representative. Upon earning my license, I joined my mother and her team. I bring a unique background of design & construction, knowledge of agriculture & land uses, excellent customer service skills & professionalism.
The best part of this career is the relationships that I am building and continue to build. Nothing beats the smile on a client’s face when they receive the keys to their new home!

About Monika Patterson
Poirier Realty Group Administrator
I was born in the Czech Republic and moved to Canada with my family when I was three. I was raised in Mississauga on the border of Oakville. I met my husband, Barry, when we were both students at Sir Sanford Fleming College in Lindsay. We moved several times in our early years, house to apartment in Mississauga, to Ottawa for an adventure and back to southern Ontario when our first son was born. I grew up without grandparents and a large extended family and realized that I wanted my children to know and have a relationship with theirs.In 2000, we moved to our forever home in Grimsby. We raised two boys here and became a part of the community. I was able to give up my career in Geology and become a stay at home mom. This also allowed me to become a career volunteer. I have volunteered for everything from preschool to high school, hockey to hospital. And I love it! I love people and I love to help. Once our boys were older, my volunteering experience led me to jobs as a receptionist for a local chiropractor and as fundraising coordinator for a local non-profit organization.
Becoming the Administrator for the Poirier Realty Group has been exciting and a little like coming home. Here I have the opportunity to work with some wonderful people and to help our team help our clients find their forever homes (or the ones in between). I look forward to meeting you!
